AME Emergency Translate is a smart phone/tablet app to allow any organisation to access an instant translation service.
The app will have a built in custom vocabulary of pre-recorded audio allowing questions to be asked in over fifty languages.
The interviewee's response is translated using voice recognition and an automated translation service. A transcript of the conversation in both languages is presented in the app and can be stored for later reference.
For occasions that are outside of the pre-recorded vocabulary the app can contact an on-line interpreter and commence a video conference.
The app is cost effective for both parties. For the interpreter there is no need to spend time travelling (which can often be a greater duration the the paid interpretation time) and for the customer they can employ an interpreter for the minimum time needed.
Custom vocabularies can be built upon request and an app prepared with a lead time of approximated 3 months.
